Acceptable Use Policy
Effective Date: 25 May 2026 Version: 1.0.1 Operated by: [Influenca Digital Marketing LLC — CR# TBD]
Language note: The Arabic version of this Acceptable Use Policy is the legally binding version. This English translation is provided for convenience only. In the event of any conflict between the two versions, the Arabic version prevails.
1. Purpose
This Policy defines the behaviours and content types that are prohibited on the influenca platform. It supplements the Terms of Service and applies to all users (brands, creators, agencies) and to all content, orders, and transactions on the platform.
2. Prohibited Content Categories
All users are prohibited from producing, promoting, distributing, or facilitating the publication of content that falls into any of the following categories.
2.1 Sexual and Explicit Content
Any content containing explicit nudity, sexual acts, or sexual innuendo, or that markets sexually oriented material in any form — whether explicit or implied.
2.2 Gambling and Games of Chance
Any content that advertises online gambling sites, casinos, applications involving wagers, or any form of game of chance, regardless of how such products are described or branded.
2.3 Content Offensive to Religious Beliefs
Any content that mocks, demeans, or shows contempt for any religion or its adherents, or that disparages religious practices, sacred texts, or religious figures of any faith.
2.4 Political Content
Any content related to electoral campaigns, promotional material for political parties or individual candidates, or advocacy material with a political character, regardless of political orientation.
2.5 Alcohol Promotion
Any advertisements or promotional content for alcohol brands or products. Commercial promotion of alcohol is subject to regulatory restrictions in Jordan and most countries in the region, even where its consumption is legal.
2.6 Harmful and Misleading Content
Any content that incites violence or self-harm, promotes conspiracy theories, spreads medically misleading claims, or makes material false assertions about any person, product, or service.
3. Advertising Disclosure Obligation
3.1 Regulatory Framework by Market
Disclosure requirements vary by market:
- Saudi Arabia: The General Authority for Audiovisual Media (GCAM) imposes mandatory disclosure with active enforcement and fines. Common hashtags:
#إعلان#اعلان_مدفوع#بالتعاون_مع. - United Arab Emirates: The National Media Council (NMC, effective January 2026) requires mandatory sponsorship disclosure with active enforcement.
- Jordan: There is no specific influencer-disclosure law. Consumer Protection Law No. 7 of 2017 prohibits misleading advertising but does not mandate a specific disclosure hashtag. We strongly recommend creators follow promotional-content disclosure best practices (such as the
#إعلانtag) for consumer protection under this law.
3.2 How to Disclose
The disclosure tag must appear at the beginning of the post or in a prominently visible position that is readable without expanding the caption or tapping "see more". The following tags are recommended on every sponsored post:
#إعلان#اعلان_مدفوع#بالتعاون_مع
The tag must appear clearly and separately. Burying it among dozens of unrelated hashtags does not constitute compliant disclosure.
3.3 Creator's Legal Responsibility
The creator is the primary legal responsible party before regulatory authorities in markets that enforce mandatory disclosure. influenca makes reasonable efforts to verify disclosure before closing orders and releasing payments, but does not bear legal liability for individual creator violations.
4. Authenticity of Content and Audience
4.1 Prohibition on Artificial Inflation
The following are expressly prohibited:
- Purchasing followers, likes, comments, or views from any source.
- Joining engagement pods for the purpose of artificially inflating engagement metrics.
- Using automation software or bots to generate activity on social accounts.
- Declaring follower counts or engagement rates that are materially inflated relative to actual performance.
4.2 Consequences of Discovery
Upon discovery of any of these practices, influenca has the right to:
- Cancel the relevant order and return the full amount to the brand.
- Suspend or permanently terminate the creator's account.
- Record a permanent negative flag on the creator's public profile.
5. Intellectual Property
5.1 Brand Assets
Logos, images, and visual elements provided by the brand in the campaign brief may be used exclusively for fulfilling the order for which they were provided. The creator may not use them in any other posts or for the benefit of any third party.
5.2 Ownership of Produced Content
The creator retains original ownership of the content they produce unless the contracted package explicitly provides for a usage rights transfer. Where a usage rights transfer is specified, it is limited to the scope, duration, and platforms stated in the package.
5.3 Third-Party Rights
The creator is responsible for verifying that they hold the rights to use all elements in their produced content (music, images, video clips) and for obtaining any necessary permissions from the relevant rights holders.
6. Platform Safety and Anti-Abuse Rules
6.1 Harassment and Hate Speech
Sending harassing, abusive, or threatening messages to any other user is prohibited. Any content that incites hatred on the basis of gender, nationality, religion, ethnicity, or any other ground is prohibited.
6.2 Multiple Accounts
No natural person or legal entity may create more than one account on the platform. Multiple accounts are closed upon discovery.
6.3 Escrow Circumvention
Attempting to conduct any financial transaction related to an active platform order outside the platform directly is prohibited. This behaviour constitutes a serious violation that results in immediate account termination.
6.4 Impersonation
Impersonating another user, another business entity, or any influenca employee or representative in any manner is prohibited.
7. Reporting Violations and Enforcement
7.1 Reporting
Any user may report a suspected violation via:
- The report button available on profiles and in-platform posts.
- Contacting
support@influenca.comwith details of the violation and any supporting evidence.
Good-faith reports will not result in any negative consequence for the reporter.
7.2 Enforcement Steps
Upon discovering a violation of this Policy, influenca applies the following graduated response based on the severity of the violation:
- Formal warning: Written notice to the user describing the nature of the violation and requesting correction.
- Temporary suspension: Account suspended for a period of 7 to 30 days, with the right to appeal.
- Permanent termination: Account permanently closed for serious or repeated violations.
influenca reserves the right to bypass the initial steps and proceed directly to immediate termination in cases of overt fraud, escrow violations, or seriously harmful content.
