Refund Policy
Effective Date: 25 May 2026 Version: 1.0.0 Operated by: [Influenca Digital Marketing LLC — CR# TBD]
Language note: The Arabic version of this Refund Policy is the legally binding version. This English translation is provided for convenience only. In the event of any conflict between the two versions, the Arabic version prevails.
1. Scope and Definitions
This Policy applies to all payments held in escrow for orders placed through the influenca platform. It does not cover subscription fees (if introduced in the future) or any amounts paid outside the platform.
Parties:
- Brand: The party that made the payment and deposited the amount into escrow.
- Creator: The party obligated to deliver the contracted content.
- influenca: The intermediary that manages escrow and issues refund decisions.
2. Full Refund Scenarios (100%)
2.1 Creator Does Not Accept Within 72 Hours
If the creator does not respond to a booking request (neither accepting nor declining) within 72 hours of order creation and payment confirmation, the order is automatically cancelled. influenca returns the full amount paid to the brand, including the platform fee (5%).
In this case, influenca absorbs any payment-gateway processing fees that the gateway (HyperPay or Stripe) does not refund. The brand incurs no financial loss as a result of creator non-response.
2.2 Creator Fails to Deliver
If the creator accepts the order but fails to deliver the draft within the agreed timeframe, or delivers content that materially departs from the package specification and the agreed brief, and the dispute resolution mechanism confirms this, influenca returns the full amount to the brand including the platform fee. influenca absorbs any non-refundable gateway processing fees.
3. Partial Refund
In cases where the creator demonstrates that a material portion of the agreed work was completed before the dispute arose or the order was cancelled, the dispute resolution mechanism may award a partial refund based on:
- The proportion of work verifiably completed, as assessed by the mediation team.
- The drafts submitted and their evaluation against the agreed brief.
- In-platform message history documenting the work progression.
A partial refund does not include return of the platform fee unless influenca's team expressly decides otherwise.
4. No-Refund Scenarios
The brand is not entitled to a refund in the following circumstances:
- Explicitly approving delivered content and confirming publication, then subsequently requesting a refund.
- Cancelling the order after the creator has accepted it, without an objective reason related to delivery quality.
- Changing campaign requirements or the brief after order execution has begun, without a formally agreed amendment.
- Refund requests submitted more than 14 days after the order closure date or publication confirmation.
5. How to Request a Refund
5.1 Via the Dispute Mechanism
To request a refund in cases involving delivery quality or creator failure:
- Open a dispute via the order interface within 14 days of the delivery date or deadline expiry.
- Submit supporting evidence: delivery drafts, messages, the original brief, and any relevant communications.
- Await influenca's team decision within 5 business days.
5.2 Direct Contact
For refund status enquiries or for automatic refund cases (Section 2.1):
Email: support@influenca.com
6. Refund Timelines
After a refund is formally approved by influenca:
| Payment method | Expected timeline |
|---|---|
| HyperPay (credit/debit card) | 3 to 7 business days |
| Stripe (credit card) | 5 to 10 business days |
| In-platform credit (if applicable) | Immediate |
These timelines depend on bank and payment-gateway policies and may be extended during public holidays.
7. Effect on Creator Reliability Score
In full-refund cases caused by non-response or delivery failure (Sections 2.1 and 2.2), the creator receives a negative impact on the reliability score displayed on their public profile. Repeated incidents of this kind lead to an account review and may result in suspension.
This mechanism is designed to protect brands and maintain a high standard of commitment across the platform.
8. Challenging a Refund Decision
If either party does not accept influenca's refund decision, they may escalate the matter to the competent courts in Amman, Jordan, under Jordanian law, as set out in the Terms of Service.
9. Modifications to This Policy
influenca reserves the right to modify this Policy. Any material change will be communicated to users and will require acceptance before continued use of the platform.
